With the number of years I've been riding, I've had my share of drops, tip-overs, lay-downs, wash-outs, slide-outs, (lost my wallet in one slide-out) etc. and some scars. All part of the experience.

Well, I dropped my bike at an intersection, today. You know the type of intersection, you're setting pointed downhill, you're at a 45 degree angle with the road you want to get on and there are overgrown trees in your line of sight. I started to pull out and lo and behold an SUV comes out of the tree line, so I grabbed the brake and sorta lost my footing. Only damage was the LR turn signal. I don't know if I'm that strong or if the adrenaline from the "embarrassment" helped, picking it back up in less than 15 seconds?. I found out my Bank Angle Sensor works! Figured thats enough riding for now and went home. I heard a small voice asking if I needed any help, Musta been that cute chick walking her dog. Told her no thanks, I'm good. Didn't want her to see my face as it was probably RED!

Dude, that drop had you delirious and seeing things. I'm glad you made it out alive. There's no tellin where that Siren and her Hounds from Hell would have taken you, had you fallen for her tiny voice.

Only once on a tagged bike. Left out the copious falls on pure off-road.

Actually was 3 weeks ago after 20+ years of riding. On my CB500X and pulled in to a gravel lot at the head of a hiking/horse trail. Front tire on a small lump. I was tired and set the stand down hard in the gravel. Felt it sink in good then whoops! Over she went.

Only a few drops of blood on my knee from the gravel. A few scuffs on the bar end. The Givi side case kept it from landing too hard. Getting it upright took a bit of work as the stand was still deployed.

If I counted all the dirt bikes and the street legal dirt bikes, and cut a notch for every time I hit the dirt, I would only have about half a bike left now.
