I didn't mention any virus. Though that could be why you can't find a quality one.

I rotate a couple of bandanas and a couple of those multi-use face covers (looks like they are called gaiters), had them all for a while.

Here's what they have at Joanne's https://www.joann.com/crafts-hobbies...ting/bandanas/ not sure what places are near you.

As of today here in Ontario it's bandanas for everyone by law. Customers and staff across the board. $5000 fine if the store let's you in without one.

That's a bit harsh now, isn't it.

Have had this one for years. I wear it mostly face these days. Used to wear it for head / hair but I cut all that off. 1/4" hair doesn't need taming or corralling. I've seen several for sale but they're always stiff and feel more like plastic than fabric.
Thanks to the link for joann's. Didn't see any colors / types I liked, which was my fear. Appreciate the effort though.
As for the dog, sorry. I'm not going to take Katie's from her. Looks like a happy dog so I'll leave her that way.
Truck stops is an idea. Not many of those out in this part of the country but I'll be happy to hit the road and hunt one down.

Fastest way to get a new bandanna soft is to wash it right away. If it's still not soft enough, tie it to the near center of your handle bars for awhile. The wind and weather will beat it into submission.

Try a farm store. They always have bandannas, if they sell clothing. Rural King or Tractor Supply come to mind.
