I don't really believe brand names matter all that much. Probably a lot more important that you change it when it needs to be changed.
I like the Penrite stuff as it's like honey even when hot.
Get it on your hands and you can't even wash it off.
But in the case of break in oil you don't care anyway. It's sacrificial. t picks up all the left over swarf and dust and you dump it out of your engine.
