Default Are you a Vet?

Just curious as to how many folks have served and when and where? And was your Miitary Service part of the reason you ride? Myself,,,U.S. Navy 1973-1977 Westpac U.S.S Enterprise CVAN-65,,, STANAVFORLANT U.S.S. Richard E Byrd DDG-23 and the only reason I went in the service besides the Judge saying I had too was to get some cash together to buy a Sportster. And I ride because I learned to really appreciatte the ability to do what you want when you want while I was in doing what somebody else wanted when they wanted it.

I retire in 3 months after 24 and a half active duty Army, 4th Bn 7th Inf Aschaffenburg Germany (deployed from there for the first gulf war as the Spearhead for 1st Armor). Then to Ft Hood 2/5 Cav 1st Cav Division, then to Recruiting for the Kansas City and Des Moines Battalions, 2/383 Training Battalion and I am currently serving as an O/CT at the National Training Center at Ft Irwin, California
and Thank you Cork for serving also....How cool is that serving on the Big E herself.....again thanks

Been in for 21 years...just got back from another Afghanistan deployment today. It's great to be back, sadly home is another 7 days out.
