“Front pipe” - front exhaust pipe, or cam chest vent tube pipe?

front exhaust pipe! I have short down turned pipes so it was able to flow out easily

Last time someone besides You worked on it was setting points/timing.

"Oil dripping out of the front pipe."

I would look first at the front exhaust guide.
This is as easy as pulling off the pipe and shining a light up the port.

Or post a pic of the same for analysis.

If it is a guide problem it's not safe to run the motor as it may drop the valve.

I have a buddy with a compression gauge I will get my hands on but pretty sure something aint right . LoL
Back up to this point and confirm compression before anything else. Your thumb is about as good as a compression gauge when it's as low as you are describing. Is this both jugs that feel low? Last time I saw that, I tested it the way you did, and it was about nil in both jugs. Loaded it on a trailer and on the way home I figured it was a spun pinion. That proved to be correct. Debris from failing crank froze a cam, that made the pinion spin.

My "thumb test" not only proved no compression, it checked spark at the same time.
