My facking speedo works with a sensor in the front wheel. Ita a Trailtech Vapor.

Anything is possible given enough time and money BUT the mounts are entirely different as you may have noticed. The M2 uses the 5 speed XL rear engine mount from the Sportster and the XB uses completely different mounts for the swing arm and the frame isolator at the rear of the XB engine. The M2 uses a separate casting and side isolators.
Send the M2 engine for a performance rebuild with crank truing and rebalancing- sell the XB 12 parts to a guy with an XB frame.
The XB engine is a completely different crankcase.

I'm confused, Why can't you just use a wheel and axle from an XB?

Absolutely solid result and my appreciation for the images. As you know people's plans often require skills they, themselves do not have though in this case you have been doing great work and have a real tribute to yourself and your teachers.
On a side note I was studying XR1200X racing setups developed by Vance and Hines and they machined spacers to replace the rubber dampers on the 1200X frames and swing arms. Completely different bike but something to consider.

I'd like to keep my M2 wheel. XB wheel is the last option. They are very expensive over here...

ah now I understand. I think you should be able to change the bearings in your M2 wheel to 30mm ID and get an XB axle to solve the problem.
