Default loose exhaust

HI,as you know my bike is at custom shop,,
and in a previous post i said 1200 was not as fast as my Vulcan,
.
When they took mufflers off they found out the rear exhaust pipe was loose ,

tho i did not find any symptoms,

we think that was causing the power loss, we will soon know

Good that they found and are fixing it but the odds of that causing a meaningful power loss are slim to none.

When it's loose, as in 'leaky', it can cause some backfiring when closing the throttle but not
that it will eat up a significant amount of your horsepower.

The sequence to install an exhaust is you tight the back and go forward, by removing the back, if you get a slack front it is normal.
