Well, it should. You did most of the work.
I just collected it.

Sometime today I'll try to run down some US part numbers to add if possible.
I like the idea of building your own with the parts.
As in your situation, sometimes it doesn't come down to price but availability.

FWIW here in Rural America, any Farm/Auto Parts source that has Hydraulics, and a Hose Maker....Lots don't go that small... but, obviously, some do... Shop!

If you want to do it yourself google AN fittings. A number of companies sell the components, Earl's, anhosefittings.com, etc. Beware of counterfeit!! Ebay may not be the best place to buy from. Well, mission aborted...

I tried to replace the old line for the new one. I removed the old one and carefully mounted the new line into the oil pump. No problem, perfect fit! But then came the part where I needed to remove the old oil line from the oil filter side.

I removed the regulator/rectifier to get more space. Didn't help. For a wrench to fit there was only just enough room between the frame and the engine casing to get a 7/16 wrench on it, but there was not enough to turn it more than about a hair. Tried to get to it from the left side of the bike...not a chance...

I found out that you can only get to that part of the oil line when you:

-remove the oil filter
-remove the oil pressure switch
-remove the oil pressure switch adapter attached to the casing

I changed the oil and the filter just 200 miles ago. So I think it's wiser to wait until the next oil change. Which was my actual plan, but being stubborn I was convinced that it could be done without too much trouble and did not want to wait. So I put the old one back again. A lesson learned.

Wrench sizes to remove the old line:
pump side; 9/16 and 5/8
filter side; 7/16

Wrench size to mount the Goodridge oil line:
metric wrench, size 15(mm)

The Goodridge oil line is pretty stiff and has much wider bend radius than a rubber oil line. Exceeding it will certainly damage it.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't had much choice living in this little town called The Netherlands...

As you can see I wrote down what didn't go well. I will replace it the next oil change and I will try to make some extra pictures for Sportsterpedia. If you think forum members can benefit from this 'wrenching adventure' or any other information, please feel free to use it!

I think that's the route I'd take also.
But it's good to have choices.
From my little surroundings, shops are abundant around here.
Anywhere near farming or construction areas should have some way to help.
But other people live in areas where it's hard to spot a tree or even a hill and the industries respond in kind.
As in the ops case, some local industries aren't much help.

edit:
I added some info in the Sportsterpedia article on buying from DK.
The hoses are available there and probably several other places.
I noticed when searching their site, the 210 series is PTFE lined whereas the 202 series is neoprene lined.

So it may take further research and paying attention to the numbers to get what you want.
Part numbers there don't match Goodridge numbers which makes it more difficult.
But the hose itself sounds like a good one.
I didn't find any complete Goodridge hose assemblies specific for Sportsters
