Default New front tire 80/90-21?

Well, I got a 2008 1200C that needs a new front tire. It must have sat too long before I bought it and seems to have a flat spot. I have a little wobble at higher speeds. The back seems fine.

It's a spoke front rim and I've been looking at getting a new tube, rim strip, and tire, is there anything else I need? What tire will give me the most mileage? I live out in the boonies and ride almost exclusively on the freeway so I need something that will give me good mileage.

Here are all the tires I'm looking at, all carried by a local dealer-

Shinko 230 Tour Master 80/90-21- Seems too cheap?
Shinko 777 80/90-21- Same as above.
Pirelli MT66 Route 80/90-21- I've had Pirellis on a car, they were nice.
Continental Tour 80/90-21- Same as the Pirellis.
Avon AV71 Cobra 80/90H-21- I know nothing about them.
Bridgestone Battlecruise H50 80/90-21- Well known maker?
Dunlop D402 MH90-21- Original, but it did get a flat spot.
Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra MH90-21- Heard good things but are they that much better than the others?

Also what inner tube brand? Will Dunlop do?

Thank you guys as always and any help would be appreciated.

I put a matching set of the Pirelli Route MT66 on my 01. I really like the feel and grip. Oh and the price!

My only concern was the weight rating on the front is around 50 pounds below the recommended rating. I decided to go for it considering I ride solo 95% of the time, and I'm 5'10" and 160..

Either the 888 Metzeler or the Michelin Commander II would be a good choice, as both are supposed to be dual compound/high mileage tires. Both are way better than the original Dunlop. Dunlop's American Elite & Elite 4 tires are comparable to the Metz & Mich tires. Not sure if you can get all of those in the size you need, tho. Check their web sites.

Replace the 80/90 21 with a 90/90 21.

More rubber on the road and I think they look better.

Should fit with no problems.
