Default THE Trainspotting Thread

OK - a lot of you dig trains. Here's the deal. I'd like this thread to be pics of trains that you have seen, not stock photos. Real trains on real rails are best, but museum pics are cool too. Add as much info as you can.

Here's my first contribution. Caught this at the Nebraska/Colorado border on the way home from Sturgis 2009.

"Take most people, they're crazy about cars. They worry if they get a little scratch on them, and they're always talking about how many miles they get to a gallon, and if they get a brand-new car already they start thinking about trading it in for one that's even newer. I don't even like old cars. I mean they don't even interest me. I'd rather have a goddam horse. A horse is at least human, for God's sake." ~ Holden Caulfield

2008 Carter County display. I took the picture for a local HOG group competition they were having the Presidential Race, finding places with the presidents names or associated with the presidents like birthplaces, graves, libraries..... I had to have a Central HD t-shirt logo and money in the pic, this explains the t-shirt logo with the dollar bill pinned to it.

Euro Tunnel Train going for a overhaul.
This picture was taken by my son who used to drive as wide /long load escort for the transport firm.
The trains were loaded on the trailer in France then driven to England for a major overhaul.
10 weeks later taken back to France by trailer and put back on the rail line,
so that it could be driven through the channel tunnel back to England?
Now that's how to run a firm!
