That would have to be the brand-new 1978 Ironhead 75th Anni I test drove that summer. It was black... even had the AMF triangle on it.

Wife and I rode the ol' 360 Honda down to the place to ride it. I remember twisting the throttle on it to take off, and I just about dumped the wife off on her butt!

If I remember right, it was about $3,100.00 new. Couldn't afford it. Boy, I lost sleep over that one...

maybe an xl50 with some V&H pipes, a Corbin seat, and a hypercharger.... thats pretty close to stock.....lol

Kinda interesting that in the first 24 votes, the new Nightster leads all others by almost 15%.
