Default A year later...

It's been just over a year since we moved back to the U.K. from France and when i stupidly sold my 2005 1200C.
I've just bought another1200C, same year, same colour but not quite as mint as i like. But it will keep me busy over the winter i guess!
Not sure how much to change on it though. I have a set of mids ready to go on and a new set of stock silencers.
But, i hate the 21" wheel and the truly awful speedo mount/riser.
Anyway, good to be back!

Just post it as a swap, I change my front wheel on my 2004C spoke wheel to a FX cast wheel. You'll see, numerous people will call you crazy to go to a 19 cast wheel. I did it because I run on gravel road often.

Nice that you’re back, but being family you never really leave! Keep it safe.

I have a 2006 Cussed'em and I changed the pegs from forward to mids, the 21" wheel for a cast 19" wheel, and the risers/speedo mount and bars to the setup from my 2005 Roadster.

Oh; I swapped out the noisy mufflers for a set of stockers. I fully understand why you prefer the setup that you like.

On a 2008 C my partner went from the 21" spoked wheel to 19" cast wheel. From the same year the hub and axle size being the same there was nothing to do but fit it.

You can of course get the parts that puts the speedo in front of the bars and the top yoke is flat such that you can fit any riser you like.
