Thank You! I have never seen a Pingel before.

Wow. It is wholly unlike the mount on my Sportster.

Where exactly did the OEM mount crack/break? I looked at the pics in the Sporsterpedia.

Mine never cracked. The steel threaded inserts at the bottom of the mounts were cockeyed and not centered (I learned after I pulled the engine). I could have fixed the stock one, but I had to remove the engine anyway, and figured it was a good time to upgrade to something that won't break. Plus, my engine should make a bit more power than a stock IH and I've read on here that the stock rear mounts are marginal on a stock engine.

I'm in the process of printing out the Sportsterpedia article that hippysmack linked. The sequence of bolt tightening of the various motor mounts seems to be of major concern. I'm going to be removing the two forward front motor mount bolts soon and I want to get it right the first time. I'm hoping I won't have to undo any others. Especially the rear ones.
