Default MX rear wheel

Has anyone on here every run a MX rear wheel/hub with street tire behind a Sportster?
Looking at putting a set on a lightweight mild Ironhead. Curious how the hub drive side held up.
I would be using one from a modern day large bore, but have concerns about the difference in torque, and what it may do to the hub.
The original bike has similar hp numbers, but torque is a bit lower, although not much.
Anyone with any experiences??
Thanks

cannot say that i have but are you talking about off road and dirt wheels?
if so i do not think you will have an issue since you will not be loading up the wheel unless of course you are going off road sports.

Not so much concerned with the off roading aspect as much as tearing the sprocket bolts out of the hub, and/or wiping out the drive side bearing.

I have a few sets of wheels and am building an xr’ish Ironhead for my sons street bike. I want to keep it as light as possible.
Mild 900 w/P cams. Not an abundance of power, but a bit more applied torque than the wheels are intended for (not by much).

Apologies, yes I mean “dirt bike wheels and hubs”
