Default Sportster tour pak with Givi v47nn Tech Case

Hi fellow Sportster lovers. I thought I'd post some details of my luggage mod. I've added a tour pak rack and Givi v47 top box to my bike. This has added a much needed storage capability to the bike.

These Givi top boxes are not typically mounted to Harley's because they don't really suit the style, but they're just as useful on a Harley as any modern styled bike.

It's all fully removable within seconds. Would be interested to know what you think?

I like it. Plenty of storage space you have there.

I think it looks functional (which = great in my book).

Of course I'm biased since I've been putting topcases on my XLr for a long time. I'm kinda partial to Hepco & Becker cases (I've got 3 currently a 40L & 45L I use on the Sporty and Guzzi V7, and a 52L I use on the RK).

Anyway, enjoy and RIDE SAFE!

Kev

Thanks for the feedback. It's still more the exception than the rule to see top boxes on Sportster and Harley's in general. It's be really nice if there were more options out there. Givi make bike specific top case mounts for many different brands, but nothing at all for Harley's.

I've got a Givi e360n clone (bestem t-box) and Givi e22 monokey panniers on mine, all on homemade mounts. I think yours looks fine!

When I was building mine I found some companies in Europe making Givi mounts for sportsters, but it was all for the rubbermount bikes.

I just put a Givi box on my new to me 2011 Superlow. They're kinda ugly, but so very convenient. Unfortunately the tallboy seat and the solo rack don't play together that well.
