Hi Timberwolf, welcome to the Forum.

I've moved your post from the 'XLFORUM.NET. Privacy Policy' thread in the 'Website Announcements' section to its own thread in the appropriate section.

To remove the cover: gently pry the bottom lip off the tab on the oil tank, then lift the top of the cover off the two stanchions moulded into the top of the oil tank.

So, why do you want to remove it?
