Default Fact or Fiction - HP Claims

Post your 1/8-1/4 mile results Here:

Top runs by class:

883 -
Jarhead07 - 1/4-13.580et @ 98.130mph - 1/8-8.657et @ 81.390mph - 60'-2.027

1000 -

1200 -

1201+ -

Due to wildly inflated dyno hp claims it is time to put some of these myths to rest. You can claim any hp number you like, but here you will back up those claims with a 1/8 or 1/4 mile timeslip.

Claim your class at the beginning of your post and ensure the timeslip is clearly legible. Expect entries to be scrutinized.

1200cc, making 100 hp on American Harley's dyno in Ann Arbor, Mi.
No time slip handy, I do have it though, somewhere.
SS/XL class, AMRA Harley drags. Stock 93-1200 heads, Mik 42, V8 cams, air shift and wheelie bars.
Gotta add, that record stayed on the books till they allowed head work in SS/XL class around 2002 or so.

Still crazy after all these years.
Late 87-883 Hugger/1380cc (84") conversion. Too many cool parts to list. Built engine on a fresh set of cases, so conversion might not really describe it. Estimated near 115 hp.
Early 87-883/1200 conversion. Wife's bike. SE heads, 1200 flat pistons, 40" Drag Pipes, everything else stock.

20 tooth front and probably a 50 in the rear. Lots of Andrews parts in the transmission. EBC Kawasaki 1000 friction plates in a billet basket with a SE spring.
