Dan Moto 2-into-1 muffler options?
I'm running a Dan Moto 2-into-1 pipe on my 2001 Sporty. The megaphone style muffler isn't really my first choice but I'm not finding much of anything as an alternative.
Is anyone else here running this exhaust? What muffler are you using with it?
I may just find a muffler that I like and modify it but I'm hoping for a direct slip-on alternative.

What are you wanting? A diffent shape, or a different sound?
My Bassani systems' megaphone style muffler has a 4" "big end" so I added a Supertrapp 4" disc pack.
Pics etc here starting at post 114: http://xlforum.net/forums/showthread...2073240&page=6

I'm wanting a different look. My Dyna S has a Bassani and I really like the way that muffler looks. The Danmoto just slips on and off and attaches with a keeper spring. A Bassani type muffler will need some modding to work.

i run the highwayman on my 01 sport, it was a rubber type but a bracket change made it fit.
if i wanted to pull the megaphone off, i would fab a stainless two to one piece and the add any muffler of choice. however, it will change performance as mr. hammer's test mule shows. it really wakes up the top end.
