Default XLCX Tire Suggestions

Stock is Dunlop 502 120/70R19 and 150/70R18 and they have to go.
I am thinking about the Pirelli Night Dragon or Pirelli Scorpion Trail II.
So far I have read a few good reviews on the Night Dragon on our sportsters but nothing on the Scorpion Trail II.
If you have a tire that really stands out and will fit let me know.

Traxx,
I have the Metzler Tourance NEXT on my 1200CX. They are stickier, wear longer and are cheaper than the dunlop 502.

Thanks Andy, I have been looking at those as well. Putting in the tire sizes in a search gives me a lot of ADV/ dual sport tires. From as nasty as the E-O7+ to a cruizer type Night dragon or commander II.
Lots to take in.

If you go with the night dragons be aware that the front that fit is a radial and the rear is bias ply. I have read that this is not advised but I personally don't know for sure.

Yep, I have ruled the night dragons out. I am just not a cruzer kinda guy. Most likely will end up with a dual sport 80/20 road offroad tire like the NEXT or Scorpion Trail 2. I still have a Karoo 3 sitting in the shop. Maybe I will slap that one there. LOL
