BACAOPIE is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 2007 Sportster XL50

First the bad,,, I have an XL50 that I just recently got back after a divorce, How I got it back was because of a wreck and rather than repairing it the wife was going to get rid of it. I was lucky enough to convince her to give it back to me. The damage was superficial and mostly cosmetic. I have managed to repair and or replace all of the parts with OEM with the exception of the Battery Side cover. THe cover for the XL 50 had a grayed out checkered flag graphic on it that mad it unique. So ,,,, I am in search of the needle in a haystack. ISO 2007 Harled Davidson 50th Anniversary Edition XL50 Battery Side cover. Thanks in advance

The best I can do is help you describe the NEEDLE you're looking for:

LEFT SIDE COVER (battery) - XL50 Only
HD Part Number: 66464-07

I believe this image is silkscreened on to the metal cover and is not a decal.

You may have to check with Bike Recycling vendors. I doubt the dealers stocked these parts.

You might find someone who has recreated this image as a decal (not HD product).

A similar decal (P/N 62535-61A) in Red, Gold, Black & Silver has been used
on various past Harley models over many years.

Simple... Buy a Cricut and make either a sticker or template to paint. Thats a piece of cake to make to be honest.
