will an 80's finned primary cover fit on a '78?

Like this? (I assume it's actually an '83, despite what's written on it)


On mine, the hole for the foot peg locating pin is busted out, and it's missing the sportster insert...


At some point soon, i'm going to need to pull it to replace the clutch, and would prefer to just swap it out, rather than fixing the hole.

If not... Does anyone make a replacement for the sportster insert?

several years ago it was posted here,someone was re-popping them and you could get stock or anything you wanted printed on them.might have been an ebay seller.
