I was asking if the taillight blinks with the right turn signal blinking?
The reason I asked is that the rear TS wiring goes to the taillight circuit board behind the taillight lense... that board sometimes gets corroded and causes short circuits...

Went out to investigate further and it's back to working correctly. I hate intermittent gremlins, certain it'll start acting up again once I take it out on the road...

I don't see any direct connection between the right hand controls (& wiring) and the right turn signal unit... Other than, as you indicated, that perhaps pulling on the control wire dislodged a loose connection on the other wiring/connector...
I would concentrate your search (at the moment) on the final connector & wiring from the harness to the right TS unit... Make sure no wires are currently pinched... Or were pinched & broke internal wire strands...
Connector 31 is under the tank - Harness side is 31A & TS side is 31B...
Pin#1 on Conn(31) is BLACK wire 'ground' and Pin#2 is BROWN wire 'right signal power' -- so double check for loose connections - then ohm out the wire from Conn(31B) Pin#2 to the socket of the right TS unit...
The fact that the rear Right TS & indicator light is blinking, means that the wiring from the TS module to the harness is working OK...
The fact that your meter showed no voltage on the 'Bright element' contact (solder dot) in the front Right TS socket shows the problem...
The fact that the system flashes 4 flashes correctly and then fast-flashes after that indicates that the TSM 'sees' that front TS bulb as 'burnt out'... (in this case, no wiring connection - not the bulb)
