There are plug and play load equalizers availible, I just added one to the ‘04”R” as it now runs with allLED lighting. Functions perfectly. I used the one from”Badlands”.

Not sure this would work, but just off the top of my head........ I think you could use a solid state flasher unit in connection with the TSM. That would allow you to keep all the functions of the TSM which are desirable, such as the automatic cancelling, etc.

The TSM will flip the lights on even when there is not enough load to flash them, and all the other functions of the TSM such as the hold, the auto cancel, and the manual cancel should still work normally. By wiring the legs of the TSM going to the blinkers on each side to a relay of the proper size that controls something like the Grote 44010 Solid State Electronic Flasher It would flash the blinkers at a steady rate with anything from bare minimum load up to a 12 amp load per side. The TSM is not operating at even enough load to break the blinker circuit so it will never over heat. You could mix LED and incandescent, add more lights, remove lights, switch to different amperage of lights without ever worrying about it.......... so long as you never went over 12 amps per side.

The units are about 4.5 inch X 2.5 inch, so you might need to get a little creative mounting them, but you would eliminate any concerns about swapping lights or overloads.

I am not an electrical engineer and I don't know if that would work or not. If it would not work I would appreciate knowing why. It was just an idea.

Custom Dynamics also has a flasher unit that is very small and made for motorcycles.

you do not need relays, diodes will work, the purpose of the ones on the picture i posted. most any auto parts store will have electronic flashers, just get one that says it will flash down to one bulb. i use one meant for a ford.

On your drawing is the blue line a wire connecting the two resistors together in parallel?

if you look at the tread led load block, it shows how to build it. but yes, the resistors are tied together on both ends.
