Did you check the Sportsterpedia?

It has info supplied by the 1996 manual:

Your 1991 may or may not be exactly the same - but 18ga specified for 1996 should be fine - Except for the TSM incoming power wire - 16ga...

I went to Sportsterpedia and looked under TSM to look for the location or a picture, I did find a diagram of the wire location and color on the connector. I'm wondering if that's my TSM in the pic.

Looks just like it, it's behind the ignition module.

Apparently the wire function isn't labeled on the TSM for 1991? I can't see to see it on your pic or on my module. Good thing Sportsterpedia has that information.

Be careful - I think the SP has the right colors/functions...

But - Can you take a nice clean picture of the TSM out of the mount with the cable connected - that shows exactly what color wires goes to which pin locations?

It would be much appreciated - to either confirm or change the SP...

Kuryakyn #4859 with Kuryakyn 8 pin connector #4832, apparently it can't be plugged right in so that's why I needed to buy the 8 pin connector. There's a set of connectors that looks like it would fit but I didn't want to try and screw something up if it did fit but wasn't suppose to be there.

So here is the wiring adapter they recommend to rewire the bike to mate up with that #4859 module (wiring adapter P/N is 4832) - You should be able to make your own based on this info:

They look like unusual connectors - But supposedly mate up to the 4859 module...

Here's the pictures of the TSM.

I also included a pic of where I thought the R/T/B module might fit. It's the black connectors that are together and the white ones that aren't plugged in are the R/T/B. I already have the adapter #4832, was only $10 on eBay.
