Default Torque Cones for '90 XLH883

I was thinking of pulling the trigger (since they are on sale) and buying some of these but have a question first.

I'm running a stock exhaust EXCEPT the baffles are removed from the SE mufflers, the crossover is still functional.
I made my own lollypops and the bike pulls better.
I did the basic kit for the carb before I decided to pull the baffles/lollypops.

So my question is, can I (should I) run these cones with my exhaust and remove the lollypops?
Or should I just leave it.
I'm getting a good constant 65mpg with my current setup.

Thanks,
Jim

What I heard is just as good as the torque cones, and doesnt cost anything, is before you start your bike, knock 3 times on the tank and say "harley harley go fast"
A good 2 into 1 would do the trick. But that an investment, and ya gotta like the 2 into 1 look.
I think your money would be better spent elsewhere. Maybe other guys have had a good experience using them.

I was thinking they would work better than the lollypops since they are manufactured for that reason and not me just making a lollypop and no testing done except the seat of my pants. If the cones would be better/in tune better then I guess they would be better.

If the cones work better, then I'm all for it, if not, I'll run what I have.
