1999 x1 tire choice?
my 99 x1 is in need of tires soon. i don't do track days, just do corners somewhat faster than on my other bikes. what is a good bang for the buck set of tires that anyone can recommend? thanks

My absolute favorite so far on my S3 has been the Conti-Attacks, but they are not cheap and don't last more than 4000 miles if you ride hard (I had no chicken strips left either). I am running a set of Pro Pilot 4's right now that have shown just a little wear in the same mileage, but the grip is not quite as good. They are less expensive too. They make a similar non-touring model.
