Thumbs up weather extension

If you are always checking the weather like I am, this extension for Firefox is *awesome* -- it always shows the weather at the bottom, and you can hover & click to see more detail, radars, etc. instantly.

http://forecastfox.mozdev.org/

(when installing, "code" means "zip code" btw. )

It's fully customizable too... I set mine to show 2 extra days under 'extended forcast.'

Default firefox live bookmarks

Just a quick tip to do this for any website in firefox:

Look in the address bar, which now reads xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/ *etc... and look at the very end of that input box, you will see an orange square with a circle and two 1/4 circles. click that once.

Depending on the website, you will either be given a drop down menu, to pick an RSS feed, or if there is only one, the page will reload (kind of) and you will then be given an option at the top of the page to subscribe using Live Bookmarks, Click the subscribe now button, and you should be done. No typing, no fuss.

When using firefox, any website you see that orange square icon, you can load that to a live bookmark.

I just saw this thread, and noticed it hasn't been active in a while. But I wanted to let everyone know that Firefox 3.5 just came out, and its much faster than any previous version. Some nice new features too.

I love this Firefox add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2677

You can set it up to open multiple tabs as soon as Firefox opens, even change it based on what day of the week it is.
