Just saw that you can order a KOA directory for only $6 from http://www.koa.com/orderadirectory/. Well worth it, in my opinion. Just ordered mine. Gearing up--literally--for a trip from Boulder to Seattle in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for places to stay along the way.

TRUCKSTOPS ALL SELL EXIT GUIDES or truckstop directories. most sell showers for about 8.50-9.50 now. they provide soap, washcloth, and towels. sometimes if u ask the truckers u can get a free shower off their frequent fueler cards. (im a driver and get asked occasionally)sometimes i mite have like 4-8 showers on my card. so thats just another option.

Great information, nodak. Thanks for bringing this thread back to the top. I'm hoping this riding season holds some great travel opportunities for myself and my fellow riders out there! I haven't used the truck stop option yet, but it may get added to my list of resources if I get to take the trip I have planned for this summer.

yea you just gotta be flexible and use whatever is available at the time. the nice thing is it doesnt take alot of time to stop and use them then hit the road again, especially if your primitive camping.

I think it is the Fying J stops that sell a pocket size guide to truckstops. It cost $4 the last time I bought one.

If you are really on a budget there are usually some HD friendlyl truckers with extra credits on their fuel cards who wouldn't mind hooking you up.

Otherwise, the most I had to pay was $9 and that included soap and towels. Hard to beat.
