I know this is an old thread, but I just found the forum when looking for a toe/heel shifter for my '06 XL1200C. Great work and thanks for posting the instructions.

Here are some templates that rasaine shared with me some time ago, when he was still on Version 2, the laminated unit. Awesome, nice guy.
Edit: I see these templates are included in the PDF Instructions file rasaine attached to post #26.

Wow. I really like this. I have torn tendons in my left ankle and this might just do the trick to help me.

Dear bro. Racine...all I can say is that I am very ,very desperate for a toe-heel shifter for my newly acquired 2002 883 hugger . I am not able to rotate my left foot(nor my right) thanks to a surgeon back in 1990!! I am new to this forum and don't know if this letter will even reach you. If you are allowed to call me,i would be so very grateful;then, I could explain what's going on. I just found out I have a blood disease that could take me down in under 5 years. I am praying day and night!. If there is any possibility, PLEASE call me at 662-342-6504....7025 Greenbrook Pkwy. Southaven Ms. 38671. Your friend,Jerry R.Owen PS: I will gladly pay two or three hundred for a shifter!!!

If anyone wants to purchase the one pictured earlier in this thread (version 2), PM me. Price will be $100, not including the shift Pegs or Nylon bushing. Remember, it is for Forward Controls, I think it will fit '04 through '09.

Brother Racine, I don't know the first thing about how to communicate in this forum. I don't even know what PM means...AND..I don't have anyone to show me how. Are you allowed to email me? Man, I'm lost! Here it goes anyway!

PS: Forgive me! I feel so stupid! 662-342-6504 I posted, but I think I put it in the wrong place. I MUST TALK TO YOU. I'll pay 200.00 for a shifter if you have time to make one. Time is running out for me. Sincerely,Jerry R. Owen

I just found this post on another site that may help some riders:
http://www.hdforums.com/forum/sports...-sporties.html
I just finished a copy for my own 06 XL883C but I thought the adjustable toe peg was a nice feature.
