Default volt meter

I found this digital volt meter on line (not sure where) a couple of years ago for less than $13. The bracket it came with fit well on my headlight visor. I was having charging issues and it came in handy. However, I found it distracting while riding and have since removed it. I am the original owner of this 71 sportster and I don't think I could ride a newer bike with all the stuff to look at (clock, thermometer, radio, etc.) on the dash and handle bars.

Congrats re original owner!
Frequent updating of digital can be annoying, which is one reason I generally prefer analog.

No matter which volt meter you buy get long leads that are flexible. Most cheap meter have stiff leads which are a pita to use. Check out this article to know how to choose voltmenter and use it effectively https://www.techprohomes.com/how-to-use-a-voltmeter/
