Without seeing it hard to say.I gave $1200 for my 1998 S a yr ago but it needed some work.I have a little over $2500 in it now.(soon to have another $2000 or so in it but that is another story)
I would say on the price anywhere from $2000 - $3800 depending on condition

Depends on where you are located. I'm in central Ohio. NADA value is $2200, KBB is $4125. I've never understood why those two are always so far off. Seems like around here, banks and dealers use the NADA value.

As others have said, there are a lot of variables.

The carbureted, rigid frame bikes don't appeal to everyone these days. Also, not many know what the "S" is. Depending on mileage, I would try to get them down to $3000, knowing it's probably "worth" more, but that the market won't support that value.

Thats why I gave away my 2003 1200S today. I wasn'nt going to sell it for a lousy $4,000, cause it is immaculate and runs very well so I gave it away. And I know my daughter is going to love it cause she's been bugging me for it ever since I got my FXDF. So it stays in the family..

Let's see a picture. Was it black or blue? I hope to never have to sell my 03.

The insurance company just gave me NADA value for my 2003 1200s. 2500.00. Then sold it back to me for 1000.00 . I fixed it with some help from the guys on here and about 800. We could not find a real comparable for sale.

I just sent my heads out to hammer for impact head work. Will reinstall with s&s premium lifters. I'm hoping to get it all back together for some October riding..
