Tim owns the bike shop, which has a dyno, so be interesting to see how the engine performs once its been taken out to 1250cc. Though I know he's aiming for low end torque over top end power.

Here's a short video I made the other day of the bike (assuming you haven't seen it yet)..

I'm in the middle of making some updates to the Norley. These include rewiring the bike completely using the German company Moto Gadget M unit and switches, as they give some features I was missing, such as a built in alarm.

Next the foot controls are being replaced with a one off levers, as the originals I fitted were too modern looking for the bike, and the gear change wasn't quite right.

My MK1 levers looked good, but didn't give enough movement, so a less attractive MK2 version was made, which I'm not too happy with, but at least they work. Something to return to at a later date perhaps.

Another change was to paint that lovely polished aluminium tank.. it looks great when new, but soon picks up marks and scratches, I got tired of constantly polishing it. It went off for a classic black and gold paint scheme. Sadly I had it two hours back home before I damaged the paint.. cos I'm an idiot.. its gone back to be repaired, along with a much needed front mudguard. The front mudguard (fender) is the third one I've tried on the bike, and the only one I'm happy with. I needed to machine up a couple of billet mounts which clamp around the fork legs. Not easy to get just right, but looks pretty good now they've been polished and shaped.

Still lots to do, including upgrading the suspension, back and front, and making a suitable air cleaner that fits the style of the bike.

An hour later... not happy..
