You wanna text them to me? I'll post them up for ya.

Right now being stuck on I95 in rush hour traffic sounds good to me; of course I'm sitting here taking 7th grade all over again (f-this home schooling crap), much less haven't been on a bike in many months.

Paul - Hope you make it home safely without any more issue. And, congrats on 100k! A little duct tape and bailing wire, and she'll be good for another 100k miles.

Some of the C.O.B.B. mob and future C.O.B.B. members who were at the Ironhorse were thinking that the Adirondacks would be nice in early September next year.

Working on Paul’s bike is a given at these events and stories about them will be told around camp fires by generations of xlforum members well into the future.

Neat thread, I was there a week earlier. 6 days 2500 miles, first long trip with my son and he did great on his Honda CB500F. Can't imagine anyplace better to ride motorcycles.

That works for me. I'm only 4 hours away from that. I will be in the adirondacks camping this weekend, was up there camping 3 weeks ago as well. Been going up there every other weekend this whole summer. Can only spend so much time on this island anymore without going crazy. Moreau lake state park would be a decent place at the base of the adirondacks that has camping and cabins to rent. Could always try to get a large air bnb depending on how many are coming. Lake George has plenty of small motels but also plenty of traffic, there are also some small motels around up there you can park outside the room.

I'm going to start prepping my bike next week, should be good to go for next year's Meet n Greet.
Damn thing about those pesky rear wheel bearings we just checked them out doing the tire, wheel and swingarm swap,(Greg and I), and felt good. Someone on site was giving me a bit of a go over this issue but hell I put over 2,000 miles on them the week before. Probably more than some put on in a year.
Yeah, I get my wrenching in but parts do wear out. I've now got two of my Sporties up over 100,000 and the last one at about 91,000, go figure.
Anyhow, love you guys and thanks for putting up with my trials and tribulations. See you down the road!

Paul - Remember, if we aren't having a go at you, we don't love ya. You do ride a lot. Things break. Things get fixed, and you keep going down the road. And yes, I'll be lucky to get close to 2,000 miles this year. I was out yesterday for a short run, felt good riding again.

I've never rode with any of you guys nor have I seen your bikes..but every pic of Paul shows him lying on the round doing something on the underside of the bike. What the hell is going on under there???

It just ain't a real Meet-n-Greet unless Paul is working on a bike. His or someone else's, doesn't matter.
