Something new I have not seen before
I was on FB today and came across this guys build. I thought his shifter linkage was pretty trick. I think I would do a jockey shifter if I do this mod the way he did. It was said it does have some lag. What do you guys think?

I saw that on a set of rear sets recently. Seemed like a decent way to address the linkage issue.

Should work ok if you can keep the chain as tight as possible. looks like the front and rear sprockets could be an eccentric like some rear swing arms.

LOL I got my shoe lace caught around the kick stand once. My leg was too short to put the kick stand down all the way. I had to yell for the wife to come into the garage and untie my shoe. She thought it was so funny I could not get off the bike. Since that day I have never whore shoes again when riding. |

When I used to ride back and forth to work everyday, pretty much the same thing happened to me. I got into the habit of tucking my shoelaces in around my ankles. My work shoes were "Interceptor" high tops from Wally world. Cheap, oil resistant and last a long time. |
