Default Front forks

I bit the bullet a few years ago and had Progressive mono struts installed. With my new "XR" calipers it still compresses the front forks when I grab a big handful of front brakes but it's controlled. After all I'm placing the weight of the bike on the front wheel at that point. I have 412's on the rear end and plan on changing them this winter to 990's.

Took off with the wife on a 200 mile ride for dinner yesterday afternoon, burgers at Fast Eddies in Alton,IL.
Went for a ride along the river afterwards before heading home.
