Mustang wide vintage fan here. Had the pillion pad on but no one ever used it so put a rack on.Without a doubt the best seat I ever tried. The looks kind of grew on me & no one sees it when I'm sat on it. Did 370 miles in a day when I got lost going to East Anglia, regularly do 250 mile day trips in comfort, the stock 883R seat was good for maybe 25 - 30 miles!

If you think it is comfortable now, give it another 1000 - 1500 miles, you'll see a huge improvement. They take quite awhile to break-in.

anyone know of a solo seat that'll fit an '03 that puts you closer to the front of the bike by maybe an inch or 2. i have been using the stock pillow solo seat but i feel like if it let me sit just a tincy bit more forward i'd feel a lot better.

hell i've even been thinking about just taking it apart and making a new pad for it.

also i have an older corbin gunfighter that i need to let go soon. it's in good shape.

pleated Mustang tripper solo seat here. Had a saddleman seat but it was too hard for me with the gel. Looked great, just could not ride over a 50 miles before my ass felt it.

Depending on whether the wife is riding with me, I either use this Mustang solo saddle

or a Mustang his-n-hers overstuffed

Ordering either the C&C Solo or Fastback once I make up my mind which one. Same seat really as the Fastback isn't much good as a 2 up but I like how it flows with the fender as opposed to the Solo tho. Either way it will be leather and debating stiching. Either flame or none and black if I do as I'd like a custom paint job down the road and not sure how blue stitching would look with the current color.
I really like the Lopro Solo appearance wise but I think the other 2 would be more comfortable with the extra 2" lumbar and eliminate any sliding back on hard take offs.
If anyone has experience with both, I'd sure like to hear what you think. Or either for that matter. I had planned on the Lopro Solo til recently after thinking about the comfort factor a little more.
Can't wait to get it and the new pipes on.

Maybe a little late but C&C will move you forward in their solo and Lopro Solo.
$100 for the first inch. $25 for each additional inch up to 3". Up to 1" further back.
It will sit an inch lower too unless you want it higher.
Comfortable 5" lumbar support and comes in leather or vinyl. Quite a variety of stitching patterns and colors if you want too.
