Project is still ticking over. Ive been making a bit of progress, but its hard to measure sometimes.
Lately Ive had parts come from USA, Sweden and Australia and Ive had some more super finishing done. Ive also brought myself a welder and a bunch of tubing and Im going to fab up different length exhausts to the varying steps Vince from Burns has recommended to try out on the dyno - starting here and ending there kinda thing, before my buddy Rick makes an extra spesh one fro the finished length specs. Ive got all my electrical bits and the bike is ready to roll into the auto sparkys to run all the wiring that Im going to hide in the frame and various ways. Just trying to get time off work and Daddy duties at the moment is the problem...
Its actually starting to take shape and Im getting quite excited.

I was just thinking the same thing.

probably as I have just started on my build, my cases just resized in Bridgeport Mill with micro bore. turned out good.
I got some late EFI heads that only had 3,000km on them off a guy who did a Hammer build. I have new lifters, and adjustable push rod kit collapsible tubes, 560 cams, bronze gear. billet late EFI to carb manifold . all stuck in customs here in Australia. Should get next week.
so I'm excited.

Rubine, I'm in the same boat, but mine is leaking....
The 48 is in a barn, feeling neglected, ignored and unloved.
Life gets in the way of a good time, for sure.

Mine is in the garage waiting on me to button up an exhaust and stupid little things. You'd think paying insurance on it it would be enough motivation to fix and ride. Let's go out and tinker just a little bit on our Sportsters. Cause just a little bit of progress is still progress.

God I like my new tank emblems and my restored 1980 has been a joy to ride. The spurs are nice touch. Clear coating the emblems today.
The LED light strip is still in the mail that goes under the tank.
You shoulda seen the latinos eyes light up as I threw sparks dragging my heels down main street.

Oh. If that did not werk fer ya.
