Your bike is looking great!

The silver mesh are in the bolts, behind the foam. If you want to switch out what color mesh is showing, take the outer mesh off, pull the foam, pull the silver mesh out. Then put it back together with one of the other color mesh in first and the silver mesh after the foam.

Kevin, thanks for that heads up. I'll be making the swap tomorrow!

What would it take to make one of these (or a 527) work on an S&S Big twin Evo and S&S carburetor?

That is one of the nice things about the 425 and 587.

If you have a different bolt pattern, it is as easy as drilling a couple of holes in the support bracket and backplate, then bolt it right up.

How do these perform in rain? Do they suck in water?

If you have a large problem with rain, then we do offer a rain sock for this system. HERE is the link to it. In most cases it is not needed, but if you often get caught in complete downpours, then it might be nice to have. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

I am considering purchasing one of your systems for my sporty.
The breather bolt system that comes with the kits - is there any blow-by that makes it way out the head of the bolt and eventually down the side of the bike?

I'm considering getting the Traditional hose style to vent it to reduce the blow-by.

Thanks!!!

and are you planning on running any air filter specials any time soon???

If you ride very hard and/or already have issues with blow-by, then you may have some slight misting from the breather bolts. Either of the hose and filter type set-ups will eliminate this problem.

We are not currently planning any specials on the Air cleaners. Give us a call or email us if you have any questions. We are here to help.
