Default winter tire....

Hi!
Today, first good day for me to ride here in Qc... BUT, with the new XLFXLFXLFXLFXLFXLFXLF** law (no riding without winter tire between 15 December-15 March) i can't.
So, here is my question. Where i can find 16" street legal motorcycle winter tire? Is it a company doing such tire?
Thank's

I don't think I've ever seen a true winter motorcycle tire (meaning compound designed for snow and ice with deep treads and siping)?

I'm not entirely certain they would work real well.

Man, if that was the US I would think the law would be unenforceable, but I dunno.

Go to the SAAQ and get an exemption (dérogation) to ride without snow tires, it's good for 1 week and you can get 2 per year, that will carry over until March 15. They don't cost anything but I agree it' such a pain in the a$$. I got my first one yesterday and I'm on the road again.

How is there such a thing as winter tires for a motorcycle except studded ice racing tires for instance? So it's pretty much illegal to ride a motorcycle between Dec. 15 to March 15 in Quebec basically? Bullshit, just ride and see if a cop budges.

Quebec sure is becoming a Nazi state. What's the yearly plate renewal cost again? Over $400 is it?

Cheers from Ottawa. I stay the XLFXLFXLFXLF out of Quebec.
