Default '69 XLH wiring question

My '69 XLH came equipped with a circuit breaker instead of a starter relay and I'd like to replace it with a relay. The way it's wired now is: both battery and solenoid wires go to either side or the breaker, while the push button start switch goes to the small post on the solenoid.

I understand that the relay wiring is as follows: 1 wire to the battery post of the regulator, another wire straight to the solenoid, and one wire from the push button start switch to the appropriate relay post.

So, if I install the relay like stated, what wire would goes to the small solenoid post?

Thanks, Sleighcrane. Yes--I am aware of the relay wiring. I'm questioning what wire should go to the small solenoid post.
Right now, the push button starter wire goes there. So, if i move that to the relay post, the small solenoid post will be vacant. Can it be left vacant? I assume something needs to be wired up to it?

You can see the way I marked my relay. The center wire from relay goes to the small terminal on the solenoid. Easy to verify with a bench test

Hmmm---right now, the wire from my circuit breaker is a rather thick wire and goes to the large post of the solenoid. So, if the wire from the relay,as you posted, goes to the small post on solenoid, where would the large solenoid post wire go to since the circuit breaker will be eliminated.

Three posts on solenoid long large post =battery and circuit breaker. Short large post= to starter motor. Smallest post= to starter relay middle terminal

OK-- with your help, Sleighcrane, and a more careful examination of a later model diagram, I think I finally have this straight. My confusion has been related to my erroneous idea that I had to substitute the circuit breaker with the relay. I think i now understand that I should just leave the circuit breaker as it is and ADD the relay to the system.
