Hey Sportsterpedia people, don't know if this is the right area to ask this but (I'm gonna) is there a call to list all the various year models along with all their known faults/things to watch out for?
This would be really useful for people buying preloved bikes so they can quickly check the sporsterpedia for the year they are looking at and pay particular attention to those areas of the prospective new purchase.
Of course, this would assume it would be for standard (or stage one) bikes as modified bikes would bring a whole different range of issues.
If there is already a section like this, please smack my hand and point me there . . .

Default Sportster Rear Master Cylinder Changeover

In your Sportsterpedia history I think the year was 2013 you didn't mention that the Motor Company went back to a side rear mounted master cylinder to replace their problematic [POS] underslung master cylinder.
I am now in the process of determining whether or not it's feasible to upgrade my 06 XL883's master cylinder to the later model.

Default Master Cylinder Changeover Update

It was 2014 when H-D went to the side mounted master cylinder. Here's the thread which brought my attention to the underslung master cylinder problems: http://xlforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=75157
The master cylinder on my 06 XL883 has been rebuilt twice but it is working.
