I painted it. First I painted orange, looked OK. Then I over sprayed with a little yellow, then some black flecking. Finally `I sprayed satin polly on it.

Looks neat! Looks like it should fix the glare issue Well except for the gauge and switch reflections, you might have to just live with them

I've used wrinkle paint because of desert sunshine. It works ok.
