That bike and seat are what got me thinking I could actually ride a Sportster. Looking forward to a smaller lighter bike that I can make mine and not break the bank or look like everyone else's bagger or Dyna.
Like Glam I currently use a Mustang. Though mine's the Vintage Touring seat or something like that.

Glad you guys like them. I’ve had one mustang seat, and I hated it. Couldn’t ride more than 50 miles and then it felt like I was sitting on the frame. I’ve had 3 Corbins, love them. I will see what it has on it and then find something that fits the style and me on it. Thanks though.

If you think a little additional height would help then accessory pads added to regular seats, or optional ones, might be just the ticket. All three of my Sporties share four Mustangs.

I have a Mustang on both my Sportsters. The one on my 2006 has well over 100,000 miles on it, I'm not really sure since I don't recall when I got it. It could be close to 200,000 as I have 241,000 on the bike. For me comfort is a non issue and I can (and have) ride 24+ hours straight on my bike and I've completed two Iron Butt Rallies covering 8,700 and 9,200 miles in 11 days. That does not count the miles ridden to the start and finish

They are a firm seat and take about 1,000 miles to break in.

Good luck with the bike. I picked up a 2007 yellow 1200R a year ago for a great price. I wasn't fond of the color until I saw it in the sun. It has a lot of pearl and metallic flakes in it

Unfortunately I cannot post pictures from work as they deemed photo sharing sites unnecessary

My problem was that the Mustang was way too soft. I like my Corbin because it's very firm.
