I swapped out the whole shebang with someones '02 Custom.
Well, I already had the shocks but needed the forks and stand.
On our crappy roads twice the travel made a WORLD of difference!

On a side note: If you only go with longer shocks be aware that the bike is less stable due to less fork caster. I found that out at 70mph when I hit a bridge joint with one hand on the bars. The front wobbled for about a second but it sure woke me up! It did dampen out quickly, though so no death wobble.
