Default a nice tool from a brother

I'm so happy, a riding brother slash machinist made me the nicest clutch tool today.

my barnett broke the shoulder bolts for the secont time, so this gives me a little comfort to dig in with this new piece.

Looks very nicely done, that will be useful.
I recently invested in an electric impact, thought it would be useful as I seem to be taking the clutch off regularly lately! What a difference, very impressed. Shame I can't set torque values on it and use it to reinstall as well.

Well, I had to start using impact too when I went with Barnett since the hub can't be locked as the OEM. So what I got was a 200Nm torque stick, 3 fast bursts with that and holding the hub with your other hand and you are pretty darn close to the given value.

I think this is actually the method they use on MoCo. This was what Barnett gave me as advice too.

Sounds ideal. Mine was cheap and is 350Nm so I don't dare let it rip on installation, don't want to start causing damage. i have a stock clutch so for me it's impact for taking things apart and torque wrench for putting them back together.

But adding a torque stick between the socket and the impact gun you will reduce the impact to chosen value. You can give the stick 350 and it will bend at the given value.

Always learning on here, Sounds like a much easier way to do things.
