Not really I have the engine completed. I am currently working on painting my tins. I still need to install a new key switch. I’m looking for a barrel type switch that is compatible instead of the stock style. Also have to get a speedo mount with the dash lights. ( lost the old dash cluster in a move.) Here is a pic of my tins so far.

Default My 1250 to 1275 build

Alright guys this is baking my noodle. I put the A/C on and the bottom of it is kicked out more than the top. Its really buggen my ocd. Now I didn't torque down the manifold until I got the carb out n place. Also removed what I needed to on the fins for carb to fit. Install the breather and Buell carb bracket. I thought the carb bracket was bent so I grabbed the other one I had and same thing. Kind of hard to see in the picture but here it is. Or am I just batt s#%t crazy?

Ah hathat's one thing I didn't think of . Just add a thicker washer. Did you seal them in any way so they don't leak ? Or dose the torque seal them up good. The way I have it set up is bolt ,washer, breather , washer , bracket , washer. So 3 washers pre side. Thanks rocket man. Some times I get so deep into things and over look the simple stuff.

I looked at mine, looks the same as yours, almost imperceptibly tilted. Same washer arrangement too, washers sandwiching the bracket with stock carb

I'm going to have to make some new breather bolts. I'm running the horse shoe breather. I can get the A/C mounted Straight but am running out of threads on the bolts. So this weekend I make up a set on the drill press . I don't want to block off the head breathers .
