Default Electric Kick-Starter 2004- up Dumbest Idea EVER

I've seen some stupid, useless motorcycle parts in my time, but this one takes the cake. A company called EMD (Esteves Motorcycle Design)has come out with a "functional" kickstarter for 2004- up Sportsters. The kickstart lever moves, but when you kick it, the lever activates a switch that trips the stock starter motor.
So all the "kicking" motion does is to activate the "start" button.
Just kill me now.

Another gimmick so the new age wannabes can look old school cool.

In the trucking world there's a similar thing to put the air shift range splitter button on the shift lever of Roadranger transmissions on a second shift lever so it looks like an old truck with two transmissions.

Don't laugh, some day you may have to get your right thumb amputated. This won't seem so silly to you then.

Had my fill of kickstarts (and kick backs) long ago! Wonder if these people convert the TV to black & white or put a column shifter on the car

I think "Then came Bronson" might have had one of those. Actually, he had a synchronized right leg and right thumb. It was a one kick/thumb sportster.
