Default F/S: 1961 XLH — Chopper with lots of early 900 parts

Up for sale is a 1961 Harley Sportster XLH. This motorcycle has good numbers, but is sold without a title for parts only. It appears to be an unfinished chopper project. Stock frame had definitely been molded, but I'm not sure if it's been raked; you be the judge.

Has an extended 33.4mm front end with a spool-hub 21" wheel. What I think is the original front wheel is included with the bike. It has a set of tins in matching paint on the bike, and what I think are an additional set of the factory fenders to go with it. (They look like they may be chrome?) The rear hub and brake appear to be original and are laced to a 16" wheel. I have an 18" hoop to go with it that I believe is the original rear wheel.

Smith Brothers & Fetrow rear fender struts. (Originals are included, and have matching bullet lights with real glass lenses.) Beck taillight. Corbin-Gentry Hustler saddle. (Inspected by Elaine!) Magneto that appears to be a Fairbanks-Morse, no polish or chrome, very unmolested. Neat one-piece chromed riser and split handlebars. (Comes with an extra set of bars.) Original Linkert DC-12 carburetor included, with backing plate and choke assembly. Early Sportster cast aluminum outer primary cover, too. There's two of the desirable early eyebrows, one of which has the neat-o dimpled trim cap I am told is fairly rare.

There's also what looks like a complete front brake.

There's also a mess of other pieces to go with the motorcycle. Motor is halfway apart for unknown reasons. Rocker boxes missing.

I'm not an Ironhead guy, so if I missed anything, ask me for pictures and I'll shoot 'em for ya.

Looking for $1,800 cash and local pickup — bike is located near Emmaus, PA. Trying to sell this as a package; will part if I get no offers. Call or text OK. Five 73319eight816.

If you end up selling parts, i'd like a look at the front half hub brake and rim. What size is the rim, also?

On bike: 21" spoolie front, 16" hoop laced to OEM hub.
With bike: 18" complete front with the half-hub & 18" hoop only believed to be original rear.

I'm not parting...yet. I'd really like to sell out of all of this stuff in one shot. (I think the price is pretty good. You may not.) I'm not a Sporty guy and picked all this stuff up kind of on a whim just to get it out into the world. The guy who had it before me didn't seem to know what it was at all.

There's not much here I can use personally, and the mix of OEM and chopper stuff leads me to believe this pile is best going to someone with a couple of 900s.

That having been said, if you want to pay the freight, if I can't move it as a package I'll start breaking it up.
