Default Cool headlight ideas?

Hey guys

Looking to take off the headlight fairing on my 2009 Nightster. The bike is super modded out and lowered, and I think the headlight should also have a more stripped down look. Right now it has a bigger fairing from the previous owner and I'm having a helluva time finding cool, affordable options online. All I see are the trendy Sons of Anarchy ones and the cow catcher ones...Any ideas for a more basic headlight that's compatible with my frame?

Post some pics of what you've got -- I'm having a hard time understanding if you're looking for an actual headlight, a fairing, a nacelle, or a windshield...

In the FAQ, it says "Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'."

But there is no 'Pictures & Albums' link anywhere on the User Control Panel...

It's asking for my Myspace page, so I assume it's not SUPER up to date technologically speaking..

Easiest way is to start a PhotoBucket account (it's free) at photobucket.com.

Upload your pic(s) to PB, then copy the [IMG] code and paste it into your reply.

Oh, and welcome aboard!!

PM Folkie, title it "loft permission" and you should receive a brass key by mail with some numbers on it.

Enter those numbers in the body of the post and a wait.

Personally, I don't mind the look of the stock headlight, but I wanted more of an "old school" look, as well as better light distribution (IMO, OEM headlights are junk when it comes to actually putting out light...).

I went with a new reflector/lens assembly from Candlepower in the OEM headlight bucket (with a black trim ring). Better light dispersal, plus it looks cool, IMO.

In that pic you can also see my DART Flyscreen, which works great for as small as it is.
