It is already tore down to cams removed and pinion gear and oil pump worm gear and oil pump removed.

Notice the bolt bosses down low inside the crankcase (ignore the arrows).
Debris can settle between the bosses.
No way to blow it out with the case halves together.
The wheel assembly is pressed into the right side?
The left comes apart with a light tap of a rubber mallet with the case bolts out.
Clean it up / out / blow all passages both ways with cases split.
Degrease case seams. Use 3 bond / Yamaha Bond etc. on the seam, bolts back in to spec per the service manual.
And now You know it's safe to put those expensive parts back on.

edit:
Remove that plug on bottom right as in the drawing in post 4.
That's a rifling hole to connect the oil scavenge passage from the sump to the pump.
You may find more there than just oil.
